I want to Ride my Bicycle..

Do any of you like cycling? INTO have a special bicycle scheme, in which students living at Duryard accommodation can hire a bike for the summer! All you have to do is pay a deposit of £50, which will be returned to you when you leave as long as the bike is in good condition and undamaged...the hire charge is £50 per term, which also includes a lock! If you are interested come to the reception in the INTO building and we will give you more information!!

Watch Television Channels Online!!!

Would you like to watch some English television? Here are some links to the most popular channels available! They show a lot of the programmes which are broadcast now and also many from the past, so you will find a good mix of things to keep you entertained! It's also an excellent way to learn some more of the interesting English words, as well as expanding your general knowledge!!

there is one small thing to remember: unless you live in a house with a television licence, you are not allowed to watch any television online which is live (it's illegal without a TV licence) you can watch any programmes which have already been screened on TV..the website will alert you to this when you select the programme..

Pool Party Change of Date!!

Just to let you all know the pool party date has changed, and will now take place next Friday 15th July!! The time is still the same, 6pm-8pm and remember it's FREE! hope to see you and the sun then :)

Daytrip Information!!

As you probably all know, every Saturday we have a daytrip to somewhere beautiful in England! Unfortunately this weekend's trip to our very own Exeter City is full, but we still have space for the Cardiff trip next Saturday 16th July! So come to reception to sign up...we arranged an extra coach for Cardiff, so in case you were told it was full we now have more tickets available, £5 each :)

Get Funky on a Saturday Night!

Hello everyone!! We are very lucky this week, because tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month! Which means only one thing....the Funky Fiesta party!! One of our teachers (Gareth Butt) is the great DJ who will play music in the bar called Amber Rooms, which is on Sidwell street in the city centre, just next to the supermarket 'co-operative'...the night will start around 9pm, and carry on until 3am and the entry is free!! So if you fancy dancing to some groovy tunes make your way there!! Unfortunately we SSTs are working the whole weekend welcoming the new students so we won't be there this time, but many other cool people will be...have fun everyone :)
